Supervised Visitation Program
Our supervised visitation program is designed to facilitate safe and supportive interactions between children and the non-custodial parent(s). This program provides a structured environment where visits can take place under the supervision of trained professionals. The primary goal is to promote healthy relationships while ensuring the safety and well-being of the child.
Strive MN offers a comprehensive evidenced-based curriculum to help parents develop and enhance their parenting skills. Strive MN fosters and supports positive engagement while minimizing potential risks.
Strive MN offers different levels of supervised visitation services. We work closely with the parent and child(ren)’s interdisciplinary team to plan on the approach that works best for the family.
Low - Level Supervision
Visit Coordinator monitors the families at range close enough to observe, but giving families space to engage in activities. If in a safe secure setting, the Visit Coordinator may provide monitoring at the beginning and end of visit and checks in with a family periodically throughout the visit.
Medium - Level Supervision
Visit Coordinator is in the room monitoring one or multiple families for the entire visit. They will be in a range that can observe and hear all communication and interaction between the families.
High - Level Supervision
Visit Coordinator is in the room monitoring one family for the entire visit due to highest risk clients needing time to maintain the parent child relationship. Visit Coordinator will be within six feet distance from the family throughout the visitation.
Therapeutic Supervision
A licensed or certified mental health professional will provide conjoint parent-child therapy. The therapeutic focus helps families strengthen or repair their relationship with their children.
